Regular treatments can aid in pain management and enhance overall physical function, for those suffering from chronic pain conditions, such as fibromyalgia or arthritis, holistic massage can provide significant relief.
Improve Blood Circulation: Massage stimulates blood flow, improves lymphatic drainage which is essential for detoxification, and increases oxygen/nutrient delivery to tissues, reducing muscle tension, swelling, and blood pressure. It boosts immune function, speeds up healing/recovery, and reduces pain by removing metabolic waste (like lactic acid).
Increased Mobility: Improved circulation helps lubricate joints and hydrate connective tissues, reducing stiffness.
Sleep Problems: Many individuals struggle with insomnia or poor sleep quality due to modern day life, chronic pain & emotional distress, holistic massage can be an effective remedy for these issues, which can have severe consequences on their overall health.
The body releases tension and enters a relaxed state, which can contribute to improved sleep. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) suggests that massage therapy promotes better sleep patterns by encouraging deeper sleep cycles. Integrating this therapy into a regular wellness routine can significantly improve an individual's sleep quality and overall health.
The mental health benefits of holistic massage are profound. Numerous studies highlight the impact of massage therapy on reducing anxiety and depression. According to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, massage therapy can significantly decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Activating your parasympathetic nervous system, holistic massage helps to reduce cortisol levels (the stress hormone) and promote feelings of tranquility. During a session, the gentle strokes and rhythmic movements lead to the release of feel-good hormones, such as serotonin and dopamine.
Encourages Mindfulness, allowing individuals to focus on their present state, which can lead to improved emotional resilience. Practicing mindfulness during a massage can help clear the mind, thus reducing negative thought patterns.
'Whether you're battling chronic stress, struggling with physical pain, or simply seeking a moment of peace, holistic massage provides a nurturing space to heal and grow.'

Holistic aims for relaxation, emotional balance, and preventative care. Therapeutic aims for pain relief, rehabilitation, and improved mobility.
My standard massage session is 60 minutes, but I also offer 45-minute & 90-minute sessions.
You may undress to your comfort level, but feel reassured therapists are trained to explain this on your treatment day & trained to drape you with a sheet or towels to maintain your privacy.
For Emotional Wellness & Relaxation - As often as you like & can afford. Weekly, monthly or longer - prevention is better than cure so for maximum benefit booking a regular session is recommended.
For Pain Relief - Leave at least 3 to 5 days between massages to allow muscles to recover. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are best until the pain subsides.
For Muscle Adhesions ('knots') - Weekly is advised for at least 4 weeks to fully work out the adhesions, & thereafter monthly sessions to prevent from reoccurring.
Yes, you can eat before a massage, but it is best to have a light meal or snack 1–2 hours beforehand to allow for digestion. Avoid large, greasy, or heavy meals that can cause bloating or discomfort while lying down. Light options like fruit, yogurt, or nuts are ideal, while heavy, spicy, or fatty foods should be avoided.
Please allow 24hrs for me to respond, Thank You.

Hello, I’m Paulann — many know me as Paula.
My journey into holistic therapy began through my own experience of living with chronic pain and discovering how deeply the mind and body are connected. After exploring pain management programmes, talking therapies, and rehabilitation, I trained in Holistic Massage Therapy to offer support to others on their path to finding relief or way of managing.
Drawing on both personal insight and professional training I am committed to supporting others on their own path to relief. I believe massage is an essential part of self‑care—helping the body function with greater ease and allowing the mind and body to reconnect gently and intentionally.
My aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can find relief, restore balance, and improve your overall quality of life.

MTI Accredited Therapist - Diploma Level 4 - with Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology.

Additional training & ongoing courses are attended ensuring my techniques, knowledge expands and best practices are provided for all my clients.

I believe that each client deserves a unique experience by tailored massage sessions, that are designed to treat you as a whole person, not just the symptom or problematic condition.
My philosophy is centered around providing a safe and comfortable environment where my clients can relax and rejuvenate their body and mind through massage therapy.

Working from multiple locations I do not choose these lightly, I step into them as a client first making sure the environment is comforting where your relaxation is my priority, creating a space that allows you to unwind and focus on your wellbeing.
